It’s hard for fans of The Carol Burnett Show to choose their favorite sketch, with hundreds of hilarious comedy bits to choose from. Perhaps one of the best-known sketches to this day is “Went With the Wind,” a parody of the Vivien Leigh-led historical drama, Gone With the Wind — but it almost didn’t happen.
“That was the genius of our costume designer, Bob Mackie,” Carol Burnett, 90, said in an exclusive look at “The Art of Kindness With Robert Peterpaul” podcast obtained by Closer.

Ramona Jones — a well-known fiddler, singer, television star and wife to the late Grandpa Jones — has died. The 91-year-old died on Tuesday (Nov. 17), 17 years after the death of her first husband.
Born Ramona Riggins in Van Buren, Ind., the self-taught musician met Jones in the early '40s, but didn't marry him until 1946, after he returned from World War II. The couple worked and recorded together frequently, often appearing at the Grand Ole Opry.

Arrowhead Youth and Family Services on Thursday invited elected officials to tour their facility, and to better understand their mission.
“Our job is to help them work through that trauma and become functional members of society,” Arrowhead COO Kari Ross said. “We want them to be able to go back into their communities and be happy and healthy and most of all reintegrate with their families.”
Many of those attending were unfamiliar with Arrowhead and its mission to motivate youth at risk to become responsible young adults and develop healthy relationships and life skills through quality counseling, education, and social services for them and their families.
