Hardy Plans Headlining 'The Mockingbird & the Crow' Tour
Hot on the heels of announcing his second album, The Mockingbird & the Crow, on Monday (Oct. 10), Hardy is pairing his new music with a string of live shows. On Tuesday (Oct. 11), the singer unveiled his 16-date The Mockingbird & the Crow Tour, which kicks off in Indianapolis, Ind. on Feb 16 — just a few weeks after the album comes out.
Hardy's next album reflects the duality of his country and hard rock sides, with a tracklist that leans towards country in the first half, and expands its range into metal-informed rock in the back half.
Merle Haggard's Oldest Daughter, Dana, Has Died
Merle Haggard's oldest daughter, Dana Haggard, has died. Her brother, Ben, shared the news with his followers on social media, revealing that she passed on Tuesday (April 10).
The younger Haggard did not share a cause or any circumstances around the 61-year-old's death, saying only that the photo he chose in an Instagram post "absolutely broke my heart."
"I know she’s hugging dads arm again. I’ll miss you sister RIP," Ben Haggard writes.

The eldest child of country legend Waylon Jennings has died. Terry Jennings died in the early morning hours on Friday (Jan. 25), only four days after he turned 62.
Jennings' son, Josh, turned to Facebook to share the news, writing, "... with a heavy heart I am here to inform you all that my father passed earlier this morning. He lived an [adventurous] life as many of you know and he has accomplished so much.
